Simply Infinite by Me

There's something
about long car rides,
gliding
on the smooth surface
while calm music plays
in the background,
that entrances me
and gives me
the blurry
illusion
of complacency.

  1. After I read your poem, the first thing that came to my mind, was that you described a feeling that was "Almost Utopian".
I know it doesn't go along with it all.
    I'll think of something better.

    Wait, how about "Rapture"
    Or is that too common?

Okay I give up. This is too hard. x_x

  2. I am hopeless at titles but I really like your poem, it made me feel like I was in the car driving :)

  3. Cant Tell You, 'Rapture' is a nice title but it doesn't really work with this poem because it's not like a joyous feeling it's more of a satisfied feeling. But not really satisfied... Kinda like relaxed I guess... I dunno. It's hard to explain.
Talking Trash & Wasting Time, Thank you :)

  4. Haha, no I understood what you meant.
    That's why I gave up.

Why don't you just name it "Complacency"?

  5. I thought of that but there's just something about it that I can't really put my finger on which is why I'm not naming it that... It's hard to explain.
